Dedicated. Competitive. Passionate. A long-time Perkins client turned dynamic team member.

A high achiever from a family of high achievers, Teresa grew up watching all her siblings earn master’s degrees before she was even old enough to drive. When she came home from school with stellar math scores, her dad would ask whether she had also been first to finish the test.

Full of grit, Teresa earned her accounting degree in just three years and began her career at age 21 despite losing both parents by the time she was 22. She then built a career as a finance executive that would make any parent proud, leveraging operational moxie, transformational leadership, and strategic vision to achieve long-term business results.

Before landing at Perkins, Teresa had been a personal and professional client of the firm. Drawn to the passion and intelligence of our people, Teresa joined the firm, now doing what she does best: helping businesses run efficiently and evolve strategically.

A retired soccer mom of two boys, Teresa has hosted players from New Zealand and Costa Rica for the Portland Timbers. She also volunteers with the Greater Vancouver Chamber of Commerce and the Humane Society of Southwest Washington and, until recently, supported local colleges and assisted living and memory care facilities with therapy dog visits.

In Teresa’s busy world, even her dogs have goals. Her German shepherd is a truffle hunter, her English shepherd is a Master barn hunter, and her keeshond is a retired Champion who has traveled from Canada to Southern California on the dog show circuit. Not bad for quadrupeds.
