Simone’s career is a masterclass in blending global experiences with strategic insight. Born and raised in Germany, she began her professional journey at Ernst & Young (EY), honing expertise in audit and international business development. Her passion for understanding the inner workings of businesses led her to pursue an MBA—a move that ultimately brought her to Portland, where she discovered not only a new hometown but her husband, too.

After earning her MBA at Portland State University, Simone returned to EY before transitioning into industry roles where she could play an even more active part in driving organizational change. From streamlining internal controls to overseeing financial planning and analysis (FP&A) at both parent and subsidiary levels, Simone got right to the heart of what makes businesses tick.

At Perkins, Simone applies her deep expertise to help clients connect financial strategy with operational success. Known for demystifying numbers and building strong foundations, she empowers clients to make informed decisions. For her, business is a puzzle, and she excels at delivering value-added insights tailored to each client’s unique needs. Whether guiding owners to leverage strengths or showing how data fuels progress, her ultimate goal remains the same—watching businesses thrive. Away from spreadsheets and strategic plans, Simone’s love of music and reading spans genres and styles. Whether attending a symphony, a ballet, or a U2 concert, she’s passionate about live art. At home, you might find her making sushi with her family or cheering on her son and daughter as they light up the stage as competitive dancers. A true globetrotter at heart, Simone has lived in Germany, South America, and now the Pacific Northwest, with each chapter enriching her outlook and her life’s work.
