After successful forays into nonprofit event planning and media services, this creative Pepperdine University grad surprised even herself when she developed an interest in accounting after a friend offhandedly asked her to check his accounting homework. Intrigued, she obliged—and something clicked. Crunching numbers and analyzing data appealed to her, so she enrolled at PSU to earn a post-baccalaureate in accounting. She joined Perkins shortly thereafter, wowing us with her uncanny ability to find a story in the numbers, lending insight to our clients in the Food & Beverage industry.
Proud mom of two young girls, Chelsea and her family live the idyllic life on a few acres of farmland near Portland, where they roam among pear and apple trees and visit the sheep and horses next door. She dreams of the day they can all visit her favorite farm in Tuscany to harvest olives, master the art of pasta making, and live la dolce vita.
