A rising star in our firm, business community and in the accounting profession, we’re pretty sure Paris will be famous one of these days!
Paris got right into the rhythm of things after joining Perkins in 2003, navigating her way through the Tax department and straight into the Business Valuation and Litigation Support practice groups, earning her Accreditation in Business Valuation and Certification in Financial Forensics. Today, she works with these groups along with our Food & Beverage, Business Transition & Succession, Legacy Planning, and Real Estate Practice Groups.
Paris demonstrates her flexibility and depth as she moves from working with a small business owner in identifying ways to increase the value of the company and prepare for succession planning and transaction readiness. Next, she’s on to collaborating with the interdisciplinary Transaction Advisory Services team on financial due diligence and Quality of Earnings engagements. As if her plate isn’t full enough, she also consults with Perkins’ audit team on clients’ real estate valuation issues. She also earned a seat at the AICPA 2012 Leadership Academy and was a member of the 4th graduating class, consisting of 36 CPAs across the country. In 2016, the AICPA FVS section presented her with the Standing Ovation Award for recognition as an accomplished professional who exhibits exemplary professional achievement in forensic accounting and business valuation.
It’s pretty clear to all of us that Paris bleeds crimson. As an active WSU alum, she serves on the WSUV College of Business Board of Advisors and is a Past President of the WSU Alumni Association’s (WSUAA) Southwest Washington chapter. She also received recognition by the Washington State University Foundation as the 2011 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year and by Washington State University Vancouver as one of their 25 Notable Alumni. Giving her even more star-power, her hometown of Vancouver recognized her as a rising star in 2009 as one of Vancouver Business Journal’s Accomplished Under 40.
When not serving her clients, Paris loves pouring her heart into her local community, whether through her church or her daughter’s troop. On the weekends, you’ll likely find Paris trying out a new sourdough recipe, digging in her vegetable garden, or checking out a new trail with her young family.
