Meyers, Goecke & Powell Achieve Certified Financial Forensics Credential

PORTLAND, OR – Perkins & Company, P.C., Portland’s largest locally owned public accounting firm, is proud to announce Keith Meyers, Lisa Goecke and Paris Powell have earned the Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) credential from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The CFF credential, established in 2008 by the AICPA, is granted to qualified CPAs with considerable professional experience in financial forensics.

The CFF encompasses specialized forensic accounting skills applied in a variety of practice areas, including: bankruptcy, computer forensics, economic damages, family law, fraud investigations, litigation support, stakeholder disputes and valuations. Meyers, Goecke and Powell met the requirements to earn the CFF credential, which include demonstrating significant business experience in the area of financial forensics as well as completing a minimum of 75 hours of life-long learning and education activities in the area of financial forensics.

Meyers, Goecke and Powell are members of Perkins & Company’s Business Valuation Practice Group and are also accredited in business valuation (ABV). The Business Valuation Practice Group determines companies’ substantiated monetary values for selling, mergers, acquisitions and stock offerings. Analysis is also used in determining gift or estate value, creating a succession plan, value for divorce settlements, assisting attorneys in litigation and filing insurance claims. The group is a member of the Financial Consulting Group, the leading organization of business valuation and financial consulting firms in North America.
