Eric Hormel
CPA | Shareholder
With Eric, you get the power of working with someone invested in helping you make a difference.
Eric joined Perkins in 1997. As a tax shareholder he leads our Legacy Planning and Creative Services Practice Groups. Finding his Legacy Planning work fulfilling, he enjoys helping his high net worth clients manage their charitable goals and witness firsthand the difference they make in our community. A lover of creative, Eric founded our Creative Services Practice Group and draws upon decades of experience working with Portland’s largest advertising and PR firms, along with many other creative service companies. Eric’s gift of decoding numbers or “speaking English,” comes in handy.
Eric attended Santa Clara University, but is all Oregon, born and raised, heart and soul. An avid outdoorsman, Eric loves to travel, hike and camp. When not in the office, he and his wife (and oftentimes their trusty black lab) can be found brewing camp coffee, tramping down a forest trail, up an alpine peak, exploring European locales, or fly fishing on a beautiful river. If, on the rare occasion you find him at home, Eric will be cheering for the Boston Red Sox. He’s an avid fan of the Beantown team (though why? we’re not really sure!).
A recipient of the Portland Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award in 2010, Eric is a recognized leader for his dedication to his clients and community service.
