Portland, Ore. – April 21, 2021 – Perkins & Co, the largest locally owned accounting firm in Oregon, is proud to have been recognized by the Portland Business Journal as this year’s Most Diverse Accounting Firm in the Portland metro area.

While the Business Journal has recognized the most diverse Portland-area law firms for the past five years, this is the first year the publication has also ranked the area’s most diverse accounting firms.
In all, 32 accounting firms—representing 2,373 metro-area employees—responded to the Portland Business Journal’s survey in early February.
“While our industry lags behind other professions in reflecting the communities we live in and serve, we are happy to be leading the way to a more diverse workforce for CPA firms.”
Perkins & Co topped the list of most diverse accounting firms. With 177 total metro-area employees, the company comprises 62% women, 15% BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), and 8% LGBTQ+.
In addition, of the company’s 25 metro-area partners, 56% are women partners and 4% BIPOC partners.
