It’s campus fall recruiting season: time for accounting students to roll up their sleeves and figure out which firms to target for internships and staff accountant positions. Of course, we can’t network in the usual fashion this year, which makes this process more difficult.
Max Kalchthaler, Career and Program Advisor at the University of Portland, came up with the great idea of recording “reverse interviews” of a few Portland-area firms to highlight their similarities and differences. He asked Chelsea Albertson, Recruiting Coordinator, and Areena McLaughlin, Talent Acquisition Manager, a few questions that students often ask. We thought it would be a great idea to share that recording for students at other campuses so everyone can benefit from one more tool in this first-ever completely virtual fall recruiting season.
