Tim arrived at Perkins back in 1988 with a pair of cowboy boots, some dusty jeans and a ton of smarts under his belt. He “cut his teeth” with a national accounting firm in Billings, Montana, and as a controller in private industry. We lassoed him to Perkins without a second thought.
Tim’s expertise covers the full range of tax planning and compliance, but he is renown in the real estate and construction industry. Perhaps his Montana heritage gives him a natural appreciation for the possibilities of wide open spaces, since he’s widely recognized by clients and peers for his outstanding knowledge and expertise and is the go-to-guy in town for real estate and construction accounting. In fact, you’ll often find him out and about speaking on real estate accounting topics.
Cost Segregation studies is another gold buckle winning area for Tim since he has performed more cost segregation studies than any other accountant in Portland.
