Suzan Huntington

Growing up in rural eastern Oregon, Suzan—affectionately dubbed Sue by her cohort—was raised to engage with her community. Through YMCA activities, 4-H, and high school sports, she fell in love with being part of a team and making a difference together. Helping her parents build their home, she learned the value of continued learning and recognized the importance of finding solutions.

A first-generation college graduate, Sue earned a BA in Psychology and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Nebraska and, later, a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University. Today, Sue leverages her education and 25 years of incisive nonprofit leadership and management to elevate Perkins’ success. On any given day, you’ll find her collaborating with firm operations leaders and shareholders to enhance operational effectiveness. Committed to the success of every team member, Sue utilizes her leadership acumen to ensure her team attains excellence in their endeavors.

A small-town girl, Sue deeply values community and connection. Beyond the workplace, she prioritizes quality time with her husband and friends. Sue finds fulfillment in contributing to her community through volunteering and collaborating with nonprofit organizations, channeling her efforts to make a meaningful impact in the world.
