A rising star in the beverage alcohol industry, Mel is a mentor for the Brewers Association, a sought-after speaker on brewery financials, and a committee member for the Pink Boots Society—and we couldn’t be happier to have her on the Perkins team.

Raised in Houston and Colorado by a hardworking oil and gas family, Mel was born with a knack for numbers. With a degree in accounting from Colorado State, Mel began her career in manufacturing accounting and transitioned to the brewing industry 10 years ago, gaining a deep respect for brewers, their art, and the tight-knit community.

Now living in Wyoming, Mel balances her busy schedule by practicing yoga (she’s a certified teacher) and pulling out her Kitchen Aid to bake for friends and family. Away from home, Mel loves to camp, paddleboard, and kayak with her husband and young daughter in the Bighorn Mountains of northern Wyoming.
