Mark Barstow

Director of IT

Warm. Witty. Analytic. A born leader with a knack for harmony.

Growing up on a family dairy farm in western Massachusetts, Mark spent hours tossing hay bales into the loft, feeding the cows, and—much to his mother’s chagrin—climbing the silo. It wasn’t until his tech-savvy fifth-grade teacher got him hooked on computers that Mark’s future career materialized.

Shortly after college, Mark moved cross-country to Oregon on a whim, where he found his way to a Lake Oswego consulting company. There, he worked his way up to IT Manager, honing the technical and managerial skills that set him on course to become our Director of IT. Today, he and his team keep our network, data, and systems mean, lean, and secure.

A proud dad of three girls, Mark devotes his off hours to his first love, music. Ten years after surviving brain cancer, he established Portland’s Rock Voices, a community choir that helps people heal themselves and others through song.
