Portland, Ore. – December 22, 2022 – Perkins & Co, the largest locally owned accounting firm in Oregon, is thrilled to announce that Tiffany Mellow, a director in Business Valuation and Litigation Support, received the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Forensic and Valuation Services (FVS) Standing Ovation for significant contributions to the profession and her community. Tiffany, along with eight other recipients nationwide, was honored at the AICPA’s 2022 FVS conference in Las Vegas in November.
According to the AICPA’s website, the Standing Ovation program recognizes “young CPAs who exhibit exemplary professional achievement” in specialization areas such as forensic accounting and business valuation. The honor is awarded annually to a select number of CPAs nationwide and acknowledges those who have made a notable contribution to the profession.
In addition to being a licensed certified public accountant (CPA), Tiffany holds the accredited in business valuation (ABV) specialty credential. “This accolade from the AICPA is a huge honor and we are thrilled to see Tiffany acknowledged in this way,” said Perkins & Co shareholder and Business Valuation practice leader, Paris Powell. “Tiffany has accelerated our growth through a focus on training and development, is always looking to elevate the quality of our work, and has set a high standard for coaching our growing team.”
