Paris got right into the rhythm of things after joining Perkins in 2003, waltzing her way through the Tax department and straight into the Business Valuation Practice Group, earning her Accreditation in Business Valuation and Certification in Financial Forensics. Today, she co-leads this group along with our Litigation Support and Business Transition & Succession practices, and is involved with our Beer, Wine & Spirits Practice Group.
Paris demonstrates her flexibility and depth as she chassés from working with a small business owner identifying ways to increase the value of the company and prepare for succession planning. Next, she’s on to collaborating with attorneys to determine lost profits in a case and testify in court. As if her dance card isn’t full enough, she also consults with Perkins’ audit team on clients’ fair value issues. She also earned a seat at the AICPA 2012 Leadership Academy and was a member of the 4th graduating class, consisting of 36 CPAs across the country.
It’s pretty clear to all of us that Paris bleeds crimson. As an active WSU alum, she serves on the WSUV College of Business Board of Advisors and is Immediate Past President of the WSU Alumni Association’s (WSUAA) Southwest Washington chapter. She also received recognition by the Washington State University Foundation as the 2011 Outstanding Volunteer of the Year and by Washington State University Vancouver as one of their 25 Notable Alumni. Giving her even more star-power, her hometown of Vancouver recognized her as a rising star in 2009 as one of Vancouver Business Journal’s Accomplished Under 40.
When not cheering on her Cougs, Paris loves to get out on the dance floor for some good two-stepping and swing dancing.
