Born and raised in Portland, Anne was the third of three girls, giving her fierce spirit a kickstart from the beginning. Inclined to do as she pleased, she grew up playing catch, sewing as often as possible, and reading for sport. When it came time for college, true to form, she chose an unconventional major—fiber arts—in a laid-back setting—Hawaii.
Two years into her major, Anne returned to Oregon to balance her creativity with more pragmatic pursuits. Not long after earning her degree in accounting from the University of Oregon, Anne breezed through our doors. She now runs Perkins’ internal accounting department, a job she does as meticulously as the stitches she puts in the quilts she creates in her free time.
The self-proclaimed president of Perkins’ bike commuter club, Anne is an avid backpacker with a soft spot for the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. But there’s probably nothing she loves more than a weekend of quilting at her favorite Seaside getaway.
