An Oregon gal through and through with a special soft spot for Portland, Marianne believes there is no better city to live and work. Throughout her career in her beloved city, she has experienced the accounting profession from many angles including auditing for a “Big 8” firm (before it became the Big Four), working in private industry both in banking and real estate and providing tax services and consulting for mid-sized businesses. She even served as an associate tax attorney growing her experience with trusts and estates.
Through her diverse experiences, one passion remains true: to lend a helping hand to clients going through life’s big moments or transitions. Marianne’s compassionate nature and wealth of experience adds great value to our Legacy Planning Practice Group.
She also claims much admiration from her peers as the Board Chair of the Oregon Society of CPAs (OSCPA), as a member of the Estate Planning Council of Portland, and for racing dragon boats on the Oregon Women Lawyers Dragonflies team (yes, we’ll ask for pictures!).
