Want to find meaning in the numbers and work with one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet? Grant’s your guy.
A Perkins’ favorite since the very beginning, Grant was the first non-founder to earn a shareholder role. Today, he serves as Vice President and Treasurer and sits on the Executive Committee of Perkins & Co. He also helps lead the firm’s Employee Benefit Plan and Nonprofit Practice Groups. An audit shareholder with tax experience, Grant works closely with his clients to meet not only their financial reporting needs, but also their ownership, operational and strategic goals. He specializes in working with closely-held businesses across a variety of industries including manufacturing, wholesale and distribution, construction, education and service organizations.
In 2002, he received the honor of Professional of the Year by the Beta Alpha Psi Accounting Honorary Chapter of the University of Oregon for mentoring students. Outgoing, kind and cheerful, Grant is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet. In fact, we even have a firm-wide happy hour gathering named after him called, “Jonesys.” Oh, and clients love him too.
A lifelong Portlander, CPA, cyclist, photographer wannabe, and a Duck through and through, we’re lucky to have Grant in our flock.
